Remember the Removal Riders

The Remember the Removal riders ended their day, June 12th, 2025, at the Steelville City Park.

Steelville Trail of Tears Remembrance Committee

We strive to share stories of those who traveled the Trail of Tears throught Crawford County, MO from 1837 to 1839. We seek to promote respectful dialogue through public programs and community initiatives such as the creation of a monument and an annual walk dedicated to the people who lived and died while on the trail.
