Missouri Humanities Council Podcast

The Steelville Trail of Tears Remembrance if one of the featured projects on a podcast from the Missouri Humanities Couincil.

Steelville Trail of Tears Remembrance Committee

We strive to share stories of those who traveled the Trail of Tears throught Crawford County, MO from 1837 to 1839. We seek to promote respectful dialogue through public programs and community initiatives such as the creation of a monument and an annual walk dedicated to the people who lived and died while on the trail.
